What ways did you modify your Liberty?

2.5” Daystar Lift, MTR’s and K&N cool air intake. I was getting a ton of rubbing in the plastic’s and pinch weld. Then I decided to do the 3/8 Clevis lift, pound down the pinch welds.

I found that cutting slits in the pinch welds before trying to pound flat made the task much easier and in my opinion, re-enforced the area.  When doing the clevis lift, I added the stock spacers under the rear spacer doughnut that came out of the rear when I did the Daystar 2.5”.  (though I still rub somewhere in the rear while off road)  Exhaust. Custom skid plates all around.  Then of course the little things… Clevis rings, hitches, tow straps, welded some factory 08 Toyota Tundra front tow hooks just under the front bumper. (required some trimming).  Yakima roof top rails with AGV roof top basket.

What lift kit did you use? 2.5” Daystar w, bushings and bump stops. 3/8 Clevis Lift

How much did you lift it?  All said and done it came to 2 7/8 inch lift.

What Wheels did you use?  Stock

What size tires do you have?  245/75/16 Goodyear MTR’s

Did you make any Changes to the axels?  NO

What is your favorite feature on your Liberty? LOL my front tow hooks!

What is your favorite activity you do in your Liberty? Gets me where I need to go when kayaking!
