Our engine/transmission skid plate not only protects your vulnerable transmission, it provides protection for your engine oil pan and smoothes the underside of your Jeep making it more capable of sliding over obstacles.
Constructed of 3/16" thick steel this skid plate provides durable protection without giving up ground clearance or adding excessive weight. It's attached in several locations and if your Jeep came with a factory transfer case skid plate, it requires no drilling for installation. If your Jeep didn't come with the transfer case skid plate, the installation will require the drilling of two holes through the transmission crossmember for two carriage bolts to pass through.
